An Italian Air Force helicopter rescues a U.S. citizen on board of an American cruise ship

Yesterday, April 26, at 6 pm, from Trapani Birgi military air base took-off an Italian air force helicopter HH- 139A of the 82° CSAR Center  (Combat Search and Rescue) to  recovery of a fifty years old American citizen with heart suffering, on board of American cruise ship Eurodam, that was about 30 nautical miles south -west of Trapani – Sicily.

At 7,20  pm the American citizen was already under the care of emergency medical service 118 and hospitalized .
